Dodge Repair - Dodge Intrepid 2.7 Engine

Question
I am hearing lots of horror stories about this engine,the 2.7,   most claim a sludge problem ,  others the Timing Chain.  

can you tell me what is really going on with these Engine failures,  I have a 99 Intrepid w/2.7,  64k miles,  using Syn oil,   to avoid sludge,  I have had no problems with this car.

yes it is true on all most all motors today but if you keep your oil changed and keep up on your maint you will not have a problem . i have one of these cars to and never had a problem with sludge or timeing chain and i have 175000 a lot more than you . dont worry it will be fine but nice car pete
