Dodge Repair - Fuel Tank Removal

Expert: James Bond 007 - 1/1/2005

Question
How do I remove a gas tank from a Stealth R/T Turbo 93. I have gas that has been in there for three years. The same car also looses all it's coolant when I drive it, as long as it is setting there idle it is fine, but the moment that I drive, the temp goes through the roof and then dumps all the coolant.

Thanx!

Answer
Its a lot easier to siphon the fuel out of the tank, by using a hose. For your coolant loss, it could be a leaking water pump, bad radiator, leaking hoses, bad frost plug, or a bad head gasket. Also your overheating problem could be,,
1. water pump bad
2. thermostat bad
3. plugged cooling system
4. radiator fan, not coming on during operation temp
5. timing off.
Thanks,,, and good luck..
