Dodge Repair - Heat/AC - Hi only

Expert: Steve Forbes - 9/24/2004

Question
2001 Dodge Stratus SE 4 liter engine

The heat and ac switch only works on hi setting. Is it the blower motor resistor? If so, how do i replace it.

If not what else could it be?

Thanks!

Answer
Danielle,

More and likely the resistor.   But it could also be the control head. This is the part that has the switch on it.  It you want to guess at it then start with the resistor. its is much cheeper.  Its located in the heater box near the glove box.

Steve
