Dodge Repair - Plastic Radiators

Expert: Steve Forbes - 9/29/2004

Question
Hi, I have a Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.3 and a dog-gone plastic radiator that has a small crack that sealers can't seem to handle. What can I use, do or try? I've used Bars and Preston sealers with know luck. It's a small crack 3-4 inchs below the upper radiator hose. Thanks for any help you can give

Answer
Ray,

I have never had any luck tring to repair the plastic rads. the only real way to fix the problem is to replace the radiator.  There is a place called Modine Radiators that have some good prices on them. the number is  Toll Free 1-866-310-7237.

Good luck,
steve
