hello ,my girlfriends car is a 91 dodge spirit,we just replaced the heater core. the car dooes not heat up, the thermostat is also new, the fluid is fine also.it is a v-6 3.0 ltr automatic. i cannot see a water pump? someone told me these cars have gear driven water pumps? is this true  and if so how do i change it?and how much are they. thanks    tim

Hello tim
The 3.0 engs in all cars use a water pump which bolts direty the the eng. block and use a gasket



step no. 1 dis. neg cable

step no.2 drain colling system

step 3 remove the timeing belt  compoments

no. 4  remove the water pump bolts. Then serparte the water inlet pipe remove the water pump from eng.
no. 5 change the o ring on inlet pipe .

no. 6 install back toghter
