Subject: Pure jack russel with a pattadale terrier

Question
Hi, just wondering if any one has breed a jack russel with a patterdale terrier, if they have, what name did they get given, what uses they have (hunting?), good/bad characteristics and do you know how much a litter??

Your time is appreciated
Thank you

Answer
People often cross breed different dog breeds in the hopes of coming out with a new "designer breed" which they think will sell for more money & be more desirable. Personally, I am not a huge fan of this practice. I don't know of any such breeding but I'm sure someone has tried it before. And as to how much to charge per puppy, you'll have to see what the public is willing to pay for essentially a mixed-breed dog. Obviously the terrier combo would result in a strong terrier mentality & behavior, probably being as most terriers are essentially vermin hunters.
