Dog Breeding and Whelping/Boxer in Labor?

Question
My boxer will be 63 days on the 20th.  She has started losing mucous and also has diarrhea.  She is laying around alot also.  Do you think she is in the early stages of labor?  Earlier this morning she was very shaky but she is no longer that way.  Thanks for your help.

Hi Wendy. It sounds like she is getting ready. Sometimes dogs will get diarrhea before labor, and after. It's nature's way of cleaning things out. I don't know what you mean by her being shaky, but I'd put a call in to the vet just to be on the safe side. Good luck!
