Question we are trying to breed my female yorkiepoo (her first time breeding ) with a male yorkie (he is very experienced ) we noticed on june 23 that she was bleeding she bleed till june 29th and then on june 30th he mounted her and they did lock for 10 minutes they did this twice that day . she never refused him . what do you think that chances of her getting pregnant are poor or good ? we not really sure if june 23 was her first day as she may have been bleeding before and we just didnt notice..
Answer Hi Tammy. I always say that if a dog is bred, treat her like she is pregnant until proven otherwise. It's too hard to say for sure if your girl is pregnant or not. Treat her like she is, and you have an x-ray done after day 50 of the pregnancy to tell for sure. That's honestly the best advice I can give you. You'll just have to wait her out. :-) I know it's not the answer that most people are looking for, but it's also not something that can be answered yes or no. Good luck!
