Question
female has 7 puppies and she has had advantage on her but she still has fleas off and on now she has tapeworm and is nursing the pups will be 3 weeks old sunday? she is bathed and flea protected all the time just live where we have no grass yet so the fleas have been very bad in the extreme heat that we have had.
Answer
The fleas and tapeworm have to be taken care of immediately. Or they can be fatal to both the dam and the pups. All your doing is feeding the worm.
Advantage is obviously not working, you need something stronger with Praziquantel like Drontal Plus. A product that kills tapeworm in one dose.
