Hi, I'm a vet assistant and I have to say, vets are not well trained in nutrition; I would not feed my dog science diet. It looks like to me your dog could have bladder stones and/or a bladder infection. You could give her colloidal silver and cranberry powder, or liquid, both together should take care of any possible infection and bladder stones as well. In my experience there are better foods out there than blue buffalo, which are Fromm, Horizon Pulsar as well as "Health extension" grain free, but also Halo. I researched all the foods, and these foods create great digestion and these companies cook at low temperature, use human grade high quality ingredients, make low ash content foods and are very nutritious. It is also a good idea to rotate. For more information on great quality foods please check out dogfoodadvisor as well as Dr.Becker/Mercola. Hope this helps.
