Hello Patricia - well, there may be some type of bacteria or parasite that has upset her system .  The Flagyl is harsh stuff and should kill what is hurting her !
I can help with some supplements - the vitamins and herbs will help with her Belly issues, itching and hunger, too.

1.  Please get her slowly Off the Lamb and rice - give her some SoJo mix - this is a GRAIN free dog food mix : You add your own lightly cooked meats to the SoJo Green bag - grain free mix:
here is a link for free shipping:
Give her the Lamb and rice in the am and the SOJO food in the PM-
after a few weeks only feed the SOJO and drop the Dry kibble ...

2.  Grain free will help the belly and intestines, digestion and allergies ( itching)...!  Believe me - I have seen wonders after a few weeks on the SoJO home cooking mixes.
They have some nice treats too - make sure you get the grain-free : they offer 2 kinds .....
see the link above for SoJO.

3.  Please get this kid on  some ACTIVIA Yogurt - 6 - 8 ounce cup per day - MUST be the Activia with the Active cultures...
Give 1 cup per day for 3 weeks.  Will help with the bacteria and yeast in her belly and intestines.

4.  Please call the NuVET folks for FAST shipping : I would love to see her on the NuVET wafer program - daily- long term...
This will help her belly, allergies, and re- build the immune system...
It is an allergy blaster, too.
