Question I have 3 dogs...50lb mutt, 80lb gsd and 140lb great dane....i am wanting to add salmon oil pills to there diet to help with some skin allergies. i have switched them to a high quality grain free, soy free, dye free, by-product free food and they are doing great but there skin is still a little dry. i do know that with the salmon oil i am supposed to give a vitamin E supplement as well...what my question is....how much of each should i be giving each dog? i plan on ordering these pills soon and im not 100% sure on the dosage and if it should be given daily. Thanks for your help!
Hi Sara - I sure like the liquid pure salmon oils - ONLY -
Yummy chummies or Grizzley - You can buy them at some pet stores or on-line , too.
The two dogs - Smaller ones ( 1 tablespoon per day - )
The BIG Kid - Two tablespoons per day
Mix into the food.
Sounds like you have made some GREAT changes.
Also, the NuVET skin and Coat supplement is the BEST -
Also, NuVET is a Allergy Blaster and Immune system booster -
check it out for the kids or Place the dog with the MOST Problems on the NuVET Wafer treat.
( the 50 lb dog need 1 per day)
(the 80 lb dog needs 1 1/2 per day)
The BIG kid can have 2 - 2 1/2 per day
If you can't afford to place them all on the NuVET -
Just try it with one of the dogs .... and see....

If you order on - line / they will "call" you for the referral code - they can't sell to the public without a referral from a Pet Pro or Vet... Code 81098 / Marie Peppers of Ask the Pet Nurse. http://www.nuvet.com/81098
ASK them how you can get the 15% off.
BEST wishes -
You don't need the Vit E if you do the Salmon oil...
