Question
QUESTION: I had my pomeranian shaved down in June.  Since then, her hair down the middle of her back, from her neck to her tip of the tail, has turned black and has not grown back.  Will it ever grow back, and what can I do to help the problem?
Thank you

ANSWER: i personally have never experienced this before so I'm afraid I couldn't give you a definite answer. My opinion is it's possible. If you find out let me know, even "experts" need to continue learning.

QUESTION: WHAT'S POSSIBLE???? I ASKED IF IT WILL EVER GROW BACK, AND WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP THE PROBLEM??????
MAYBE YOU CAN DO SOME RESEARCH?  THAT ALWAYS HELPS!!!!

Answer
I DIDN'T SIGN UP TO BE TREATED RUDELY!!! I DON'T GET PAID FOR THIS YOU KNOW!!! HOW LONG AGO DID THIS HAPPEN? IS THE BURN SCARED? THIS IS MY OPINION, I WOULD TREAT THE BURN WITH NEOSPORIN TO MINIMIZE SCARING BECAUSE HAIR DOESN'T GROW WHERE SKIN IS SCARED. BUT IF IT'S OLDER THAN A DAY OR TWO, THAT WOULD PROBABLY BE USELESS. IF THE BURN WAS MINIMAL CHANCES ARE THE HAIR WILL GROW BACK ONLY COARSER AND DARKER.CONDITION THE SKIN AND PROTECT IT FROM THE ELEMENTS I.E. THE SUN THE FREEZING TEMPS. BUT AS I SAID, IN MY PROFILE, I CAN ONLY SHARE MY OPINIONS AND KNOWLEDGE ON GROOMING QUESTIONS. THIS IS A HEALTH QUESTION AND SHOULD ANSWERED BY A VET.
