Subject: toe nails

Question
Hi, we just got a new puppy and he has really sharp toe nails. Can I clip her toe nails myself or should a groomer do this.

Answer
Yes, you can cut your puppy's nails yourself if your comfortable doing so.Just be careful not to cut to short because this can cause pain and bleeding (just the tip). For more info on this you can check the past answer section. One more thing, I like using people nail clippers on babies, especially the small breeds, they are quieter and tend to cut less off.
