Question
I have an 80# labradoodle with wavy fleece hair and I want to groom her myself but I don't know what kind of clippers(was told to buy Oster) to purchase or what size blade. Can you help me?

Answer
Hello Dora!
Osters are good clippers, but not ones that I would reccomend. I find that Osters are loud, heat up fast, and lots of maintanence. I would reccomend the Andis AG 2 speed.

These are the clippers that I have been most happy with. And with a labradoodle, you want to make sure that you have a good durable clipper with 2 speeds to get through that fleecy  hair. As far as blade lengths, it totally depends on the length of hair that you want. Just remember that the bigger the number on a blade, the shorter the hair (eg. #40 blade = really short hair, #4F blade = longer hair). Or if you want something even longer, I would reccomend a guard comb in the length that you desire.
Hopefully that helps you out! Good luck!
