Question
I just rescued an 8 y.o. papipoo who came from a puppy mill. He is not housetrained. It's the weekend, so I've brought him out about every two hours but has not peed or pooped outside, but he has inside at least twice (that I know about so far). How do I housetrain such an old dog with this kind of history? Thank you. Wendy

Answer
The best method is crating I did this with my own shelter rescue-what you do is put them in there, and keep, them in there all the time, except to go outside,to play,to eat ect and do this for about 2 weeks and slowly let him out more, and if he makes an accident back in the crate he goes for another ten days, this works the fastest because dogs want to keep sleeping areas clean
