Question male boxer almost yr.s old. scatching itching bitinghimself w/damage. bought pedigree food/ switch from nutropro,and 5 days ago hornet got us.Alsoprior to those changes, he get little lumps where ithink they're called blackfly's bite him then the hair pulls right out {grows back so far} Vet testedfor mange & somthing mites maybe & test negative the dogfood change was gradule but all pedi for couple dys now & today Buddy is lathargic. Answer Sounds like it might be hypothyroidism,so have him tested for that,it's VERY common but often gets over looked as it looks like other things,so ask the vet to test him for that
I don't think it is the food,but it won't hurt to change that once and a while as it is good for them to do that,but do it slowly
