Question My min pin had puppies 24 hours ago and will not come out to eat or go the bathroom. I have bred other dogs and have never had this issue, is it normal with this breed?

Some have a stronger maternal instinct than others. Some small dogs get upset and don't eat. If this continues, take some chicken and rub it on the puppies (or soft dog food) and when she cleans the puppies she will start getting nourishment and soon start to eat.
As far as the bathroom, you will have to pick her up when the pups are asleep and take her out and let her tinkle and then come right in.
