Question This evening we discovered that one of our dogs has red bumps and scabs in her ear and on her front legs. Her ears are not causing her any trouble, but the bumps on her legs are bothering her. Have you had a dog develop or have you heard of a dog developing a similar skin irritation?
Answer " Have you had a dog develop or have you heard of a dog developing a similar skin irritation?"
I have not, but it seems that Labs are a breed prone to skin problems, allergies, and the like.
Since you state the bumps on her legs are bothering her, I would recommend having your vet look at them. He may suggest some type of oinment or antihistamine or something else.
Has she been in contact with anything out of the ordinary, such as lawn treatment chemicals, etc.? This kind of information will be helpful to your vet.
