Question
Hello I was just wondering if there is such a dog out there as this

50-100 pounds (would prefer 60-80) that is smooth or medium coated(can see the dogs eyes and doesn't need hair cuts)

preferably has an average life span of at lest ten years

Is intelligent and loyal(I prefer a dog that doesn't befriend everyone she meets)

And the last probably most important quality the dog must possess....a calm easy going personalty...doesn't need to go on runs or jogs and would be just as content laying on the couch as going for a short walk.

I cant seem to think of any breeds and the dog selector quizs keep referring me to little lapdogs. I'm not looking to get another dog just yet but this wouldbe my ideal when the time comes and I apprecatge any suggestions you have to offer thank you

Answer
My first choice would be an American Staffordshire Terrier, they are calm, loyal obedient and have short hair

Another choice would be a greyhound they are also known for being loyal, independent and laid back

I would also meantion the Dobermann, but they can be high energy

Also going to a shelter and telling the staff what you are looking for often finds you an excellent dog-as mixes can be just as good
