We just recently brought a puppy home. We were told that she is a boxer/beagle mix. We have recently asked the family to send us a picture of the mother and father. I can tell that the boxer isn't a pure breed, and looks like he may be mixed with pit. I am a first time dog owner and want to give my dog the proper training and be as prepared as possible. Can you tell me what type of dog this is?
Answer It actually looks like a Rhodesian ridgeback cross more than a boxer or a pitbull,and maybe mixed with mastiff-but definatly Rhodesian Ridgeback,which is a type of hound.They are very loyal,but like hounds can be,they are stuborn.The blockyness of the head looks more like a mastiff than a pitbull-so that would be my guess
