Doll Making/skin wig for tiny doll

Question
I am making my first family of dolls for a doll house. They are simple in style with cloth faces similar to waldorf dolls with posable bodies and wooden hands and feet. Their heads are cloth over wood and I want their hair to be fun and fluffy but realistic. I have ordered some Tibetan lamb skins and hope to apply directly with the skin in tact. I think this will make them the most durable and child proof (ish) :)....   i can not find out any info on how to cut and attach the "hair"      thanks, Connie
PS   I am a nurse also.

Answer
  Hello
I think it may have been me you purchased from   I was also a nurse before I started doing doll hair !
Doll house size are a bit more of a challenge , though they use less supplies there is such a small area you are working with  . For this size I often do a glued wig rather than a skin wig
but for a pictorial on sewing the wig see my web album   it shows a simple wig with the darts cut as I go  and at the bottom wig cap shapes that I use for larger wig sizes.

you could glue the wig after cutting the darts if you are not comfortable sewing that small to make a wig cap pattern I use the dolls head you can make a simple fabric cap with glued shaping them cut it open as I did until it lays flat and use that as a pattern

if you want your wig fluffy cut the cap shape into 3 sections and add a seam allowance
brush the hair away from the seam so the extra hair is trapped when you sew it will make a fuller more fantasy type wig  I rarely use this for the tiny dolls as it can give too much bulk
