which characters have the biggest fanbase? which ones have the smallest ?

The characters that likely have the largest fan base are Goku and Vegeta, and close behind are Gohan and Trunks. Goku most very likely has the most fans. There are so many characters that there are many who likely don't have any fans at all or at least very very few. Characters like Goz and Mez, and dozens of characters that play no role and only appear for a few seconds like Cletus and Otis who were the two men in the truck that Vegeta and #18 landed on during their fight. As for characters who actually fight, people like Cui, Spopovich, Yamu, Pui Pui, Chiaotzu, and Anroid #19, have very low fan bases as well.
