actually, Gohan was stronger than Goku during the Cell games. Keep in mind Gohan reached ssj2 before anyone. Also during the Majin Buu saga Gohan surpassed Goku again when Elder kai unlocked Gohans hidden power.

Gohan is actually more powerful than Gokou during the final battle with Buu.

Including fusions Vegito was the strongest character in DBZ. Gotenks Buu and Gohan Buu were both stronger then SS3 goku.

in my opinion majin buu while absorbing gohan, gotenks and piccolo is the strongest character because his power level is about 550,000,000 and goku ssj3 is about 410,000,000 in dbz without the fused characters.the fused charters is veggito  his power level is about 600,000,000. in dbgt all the earth dragons get absorbed goku at the end this makes him the strongest character fron the entire   dragon ball, z , and gt world

Not really. Goku's son became as strong if not stronger than his father. But the character with the biggest potential (in theory) was Frezza. Should he develop all his power and by the time he became adult (he was just a juvenile of his species)he was supposed to be the strongest creature in the universe.

The single character that developed higher power levels in the whole series was Broli. As for the strongest species featured in DB-Z, it was the alien race of Frezza. They are originally much stronger than Goku's race. It was explained during Goku's father story.

Surely its gohan at ssj2 as he beats cell and when he becomes mystic gohan as well which is supposedly the same as ssj3.

wrongggg goku wasnt the strongest all the time u must remember gohan in super sayian 2 againts cell gohan was definatly stronger then guko that time

Veku wrote at 2009-02-14 04:01:01
Seriously wrong, Gohan in Mystic Form surpasses SSJ3 by a long mile. Gohan was the strongest single character not formed by fusion or antyhing else until the SSJ4 comes up.

yes that is true but to b onestse i think gohan is stronger even goku says it in the android saga he gets more powerful then goku and vegeta in the android saga by defeating cell and going super sayin 2 and if gohan train i bet he could well b strongr

Since Gohan has his potential unlocked by elder Kai, so he is by far the strongest in DBZ, but in DBGT, its ss4 goku that's strongest.

This has a lot of incorrect things actually, as Vegeta never surpassed goku in Majin Saga, but goku never transformed ssj3 so that vegeta believed that they had simmillar power levels, and Mystic Gohan in DBZ saga is the most powerfull unfused character

...actually Gogeta Ss4 is dozens of times stronger than Goku SS4 in GT.

Any questions about these series are fair game for me with one exception, I cannot read Kanji or speak Japanese, so if something is sent to me that contains Kanji characters, I won`t be able to help. I can translate character names, attacks, techniques, objects, devices, etc. from their Japanese phoenetic form(s) into their English equivalent(s), providing there is a translation. I am confident that I can help with any question that someone may have though, even if it is Japanese DB/DBZ/DBGT related, as long as the question is written in English. This is due to my avid watching of the many episodes and full-length movies, reading an enormous amount of informational materials, and talking with other DB/DBZ/DBGT fans like myself.

I've recieved some compliments from people that have asked me questions. I have been interested in and watching the DB/DBZ/DBGT sagas for over four years, and I have already acquired a wealth of knowledge from websites dedicated to the series. I understand the storylines and other little details of the series very well. I currently own more than 80 DBZ VHS tapes and am planning to start collecting DB as well. A cool fact about myself is that I spoke directly with Steve (the original director of Allexperts) to get the DB/DBZ/DBGT category created, so I guess you could call me the founder of the Dragonball topic on :-)
