Question
hi
I just want to know if you draw or paint a picture from a photo on the net is the painting or drawing free from copyright of the original photo.

ann

Answer
Hi Ann,

I use photos for reference all the time. If I'm just practicing any photo will do. If I'm doing commissioned work for someone I prefer to take my own reference photographs to be sure that the end result is 100% mine.

Drawing from photos will instill a reality and life in your drawings.

Thanks
