AboutInkwolf Expertise I can answer questions about classic-era and modern American comic strips, and have a good store of knowledge about animation and animated cartoons of the past. I know a bit about some American and European comic books (Humor only.) I can help with questions about traditional media and some computer methods of drawing and animating. And I can recommend some excellent and useful books!
I can't give any idea of the monetary value of original artwork/animation cels, etc.
Experience I have been cartooning and studying cartooning and animation for over 25 years. I maintain a comics website online, and have created online tutorials for using Painter 5 and beginning 3D art creation. I am also a library technician, with experience in research. I have frequently answered questions at CartoonsForum.com.
I am a student of the arts. I looking for someone that is in the trade or at least someone that can help with my work.... If you can I am looking for books on the subject of computer animating. Or someone that is in the field. Thanks for your time.

Answer Hello, Foolsfate!
I'm not in the field, but I know that there are tons of books out there! Most of them deal with a specific software animating program, though. The book you want may also depend on what sort of animation you're doing. I'll assume you mean the 3D kind....
Anyway, I did a search on Amazon.com, and checked some of the lists people made, and here are some books you may be able to get from your library, or on interloan, if you're not ready to buy.
I hope that gets you started! I haven't read these books myself, but Amazon.com posts reviews by readers, which are generally worth looking at.
A good place to find people who know what they're doing with 3D is one of the online artist communities. http://www.renderosity.com has forums on animation and just about every major 3D app in use...and tons of people (mostly amateurs, but some are really good ones!) to answer questions. http://www.3Dcommune.com/ is another one.
