About Hope
Expertise I am experienced in dream interpretation using contents of the dream as the main source of interpretation. Analysis requires full disclosure of the dream and possibly some feedback from the dreamer. This is an interesting and insightful way to uncover the hidden meaning of your dreams.

Expert: Hope - 10/25/2009
Question I have seen bits and pieces of information that address some of the things in my dream but wanted to see if there was a meaning for my specific dream; here we go:
This is a recurring dream; I have been having this same dream for years. I live in a three floor home with my family, and we happily live on the 1st two levels. There is a staircase that leads to a 3rd floor. At the top of the staircase is a single, white door. I have passed through this door many times, usually with hesitation. Beyond the door are many rooms. These rooms vary in the dreams, but are always nice, large, something you would see in a mansion. It is almost like an entirely different house. I want to use these rooms but I feel as though the entire floor is haunted. Not necessarily by evil spirits, but there is definitely a presence that scares me. I usually don’t give this much thought (in the waking hours) but I just had this dream the other night and I’m starting to get curious if it really means something.
I had a pretty good childhood, I have a pretty good job, although sometimes it can be a little stressful, and I’m very happily married with two children, a dog, and a cat. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Rob
Answer Hey Rob,
It certainly seems you have a relatively "good" life without much that concerns you. A couple questions for you to think about about. What of significance happened in your life around the time the dream started? How old were you and where were you living? This information may put your dream in a different perspective. What part of your life feels mysterious and closed off from your more public self? What is in the attic of your life? What memories, thoughts and ides haunt you? What is your secret fear? What remains hidden and tucked away from you? You can change the outcome of the dream and find out more...when you have that dream again, open the white door and step inside...it's your dream and you have control of the outcome...if you get too scared you can always wake up. Good luck Rob.
