I am experienced in dream interpretation using contents of the dream as the main source of interpretation. Analysis requires full disclosure of the dream and possibly some feedback from the dreamer. This is an interesting and insightful way to uncover the hidden meaning of your dreams.

Dream Interpretation - Dream Question

Question
This is my dream:

I am in a dark red bedroom having sexual intercourse with my male best friend. My friend is aggressively on top of me and I'm frightened of him although I am still kissing him. In my mind, I thinking about my husband and feeling guilty. I am also thinking about my friend, who I felt betrayed by him. All my years I thought he was gentle to me is now overpowering me and making me feel disgraceful. He was selfishly using my vulnerability to satisfy him. End of dream.

(I am currently married. My male friend and I rarely speak anymore but we recently got back in contact.)

Answer
Maria, your dream suggests something has occurred in your life that makes you feel guilty, betrayed and abused. You may be struggling with the situation because you sometimes consciously create the situation. Think about your dream again. Describe your male friend's personality. In what way are you similar to the way you describe him? So if you are the persona of your male friend in your dream? In what way are you hurting yourself? Another question to ask yourself is who is "selfishly using your vulnerability to satisfy him (themself)?". The dream is not necessarily about your male friend. His re-entry into your life might have stirred feelings in you that are similar to another situation.
