Question I dreamt that I was in bed sleeping but I could hear someone talking. I woke up (in the dream not for real) the door to my bedroom was closed. It began to open up slowly by itself. It was pitch black but I could see an outline of a body. I grabbed the lamp from my night stand and pointed it into the darkness. It didn't do much but I could see a figure of a woman standing there with her arms close to her side. She kind of looked like my mother who has been deceased for 10 years but I wasn't sure. I tried to get my husbands attention but I couldn't move. I began struggling and trying to speak. My husband woke me and said that I was gasping for air. It seemed so real!!!!!!

Whe spirits of our loved ones who have passed come to visit, they forst come to us in our dreams, they can gauge our reaction that way. IF we are open and welcoming they will come more and even show themselves in the realm we live in, If we are afraid then they stay away, they do not want to upset us.
I believe Lucia your mother was trying to visit you. IS there a reason for it? is there something going on in your life right now that you would normally need your mom for? I think that is why she is coming to you. Next time try not to be afraid and talk to her.
