Dream Interpretation - Dream interpretation needed: The theme around my dreams lately have been about my ex boyfriend and things that have to do with weddings
Question I have had a theme series of dreams lately and I am just wondering why. My X-boyfriend and I broke up about 8 months ago but I keep having dreams with him in them.
1. The first one I had I saw like a wedding reception placement card with his name on it and another womans name below it and a few days later I learned that he was in another relationship with someone else.
2. The next dream that I had, I looking at this place to have my wedding reception and in the reception hall they had peach and mauve streamers as decorations and blue curtains up. And all I can remember thinking that I had to take those colors down because they weren't my colors and I had to put my own colors up which were Tiffany blue and chocolate brown.
3. Then in one dream I saw a 3D image of one chain link.

In another dream, I was out side of my church getting ready to go in and noticed my X-boyfriends, X-Wife's car sitting in front of my church and wondering why she is outside in front of my church when we don't even know each other, we only met once and don't even live in the same city. I saw the exact same color, make, and model of her car. I realized it was her.
5. The last dream I had was that I was pregnant with his baby and I had to call him after not having spoken to him for the past 9 months. I had to tell him that I was having his baby and that he needed to be at the hospital for the delivery. So I wrote out what I wanted to say to him in paper and pencil and send that message to him in a text message. Then I saw his face in a speed boat going through the water to get to the hospital to come to the delivery. Meanwhile I was on this island and had to walk through 4ft of water first with my child to get up to the land where the hospital was. As I was walking through the water, I noticed all the little fish in the water and didn't want to step on them. And I also didn't want to walk through the water because I didn't want to get my unborn baby contaminated but I had to do that in order to get to the hospital to deliver the baby. Then at the hospital I was looking at my stomach and noticed that I wasn't very big to be 9months pregnant and was amazed at how I carried this baby for 9months and I didn't really gain much weight.
Answer Lisa the themes in your dream suggests continued unconscious connection to your ex. In each of the dreams you have extended the relationship by some type of permanent situation, a wedding and a baby. The chain link might be symbolic of a permanent tie/link that you are projecting onto the relationship.
