Drums & Percussion - Change of Drum Module

Expert: Paul E - 10/8/2009

Question
Dear Sir,
At present i am using TD3 Roland Drum Set. I like to change the module (TD3) of my Drum to other good one may be TD8 or TD10 by keeping the same pads.
Pls advise me which will be the good replacement module for TD3 so that i can upgrade my drum set without changing my TD3 pads.
Thanks
Francis

Answer
Well Francis, as u know the TD-3 has been discontinued, as well as the TD-8 and the TD-10, there is of course still the TD-9.the TD-12 and the TD-20 available.

As there are more technological advances, the likelihood of the older kits being compatible, grows further apart.

I'm not sure if the later models would still be compatible.
