Question
Hi there, I have a Tama EFX Performer snare drum, it is about 5-6 years old, trying to find a replacement throw off but having hard time finding it, the butt is in good condition, any ideas would be appreciative, thank you

Answer
Brook,

Contact Tama and explain your problem.
They can tell you what to do.

If that does not work and you can't find the original throw off, then you have a couple of options:
1--Get the throwoff that you like and drill holes to make it fit.
2--If you do not want to drill extra holes in the shell, you can make an adapter plate out of aluminum that bolts into the stock holes in the shell and has the mounting holes for the strainer (throw off).

Hope this helps.

Mike
