Question
Hi I have 2 questions.
-What materials are used in creating the more common percussion instruments like snare drums symbols etc.?
-Do you think percussion will always be a vital part of music?
Thanks, Amanda

Answer
The most common would use for snare drums is maple then probably mahogany or Birch. Brass, bronze, copper, steel, aluminum, are also used for the making of drums. Cymbals are mostly made from bronze, and some brass involved as well. The formulas that symbol company used for quite secret so no one really knows for sure.
