About Greg Dilley
(Top Expert on this page)

Expertise
I can answer questions pertaining to drum and bugle corps rudimental snare drumming, specifically technical questions regarding snare drum technique and issues regarding the drumming style of the Santa Clara Vanguard of the 70`s era.

Experience
I played snare drum in the Santa Clara Vanguard in 1978, 1979 and 1980. The 78 and 79 lines were world champion lines who pioneered the use of matched grip for snare drum. I was the anchorman for the 1980 snare line.
