E-Commerce, Web Businesses - banners

Expert: Ezra Silverton - 12/3/2008

Question
i would like to know between large banners and small banners place at the top of a web site which is more clicked in other words which attracts more clicks,am selling ads space for google

Answer
Hi OP,

The size, strategically designed, position, etc. all contribute to the level of attention a banner gets.  Ideally the better this is done the more clicks it can get. It may or may not be effected by the banner size, if its design and position are able to attract the right attention. However, typically the large the banner the more attention it gets.

Hoe this helps.
