Subject: dropshippers

Question
What questions should I ask a dropshipper before I consider doing business with the dropshipper?

Thank you very much

Answer
There are a few things that you should be concerned with:

a) How long have they been in business?
b) What is their lead time. How long between the time that you give them the order and the time that they ship.
c) How do they determine freight costs?
d) What is their return policy?
e) Who pays the freight on returns?
f) How long does it take to get a credit after they get the product back.
g) How long does the customer have to return the product.
h) What happens when a product is defective? Do they offer returns or just replacements Who pays the freight, etc.

The customer should be made aware of all of these things somewhere on your website.

There are a number of distributors who will take your money and not ship the product. When the heat gets too bad, they just close up and open under another name. So, you should be careful and do a search for their company to see if they show up as a scam. If a distributor is offering unusually low prices for the same products, be very cautious.

Doba on this page is safe and good.
