Answer
Hi Jolly,

The question you are asking is not defined enough, but I will give you something to start with.

There are so many solutions for an e-commerce store from using Yahoo Small business, and Paypal to a more customized solution. You really need to define your business objectives and do the research with various vendors to see what will work for you. The company I work with TTS Systems, Inc. also has an e-commerce solution that is quite customizable for any need. Each e-commerce business can be quite unique and have different needs. It is very important that you define the business, marketing plan and budget before leaping into a solution.

When you do decide on a system you want to make sure that it is SEO ready. Which means that it has the ability for you as the user to adjust, test and add keywords and search terms. SEO can be quite involved and takes time to develop. Each page from when you begin development should be consider as part of a good SEO plan. You will want to theme your site, organize the file structure, select key words, titles and phrases. That is just the basics. I would suggest starting with the basics and then consider an SEO consultant from there.

In order to help you more thoroughly, I would really need to understand your business, marketing objectives and budgets(s). The research and business plan is very important to get something like this off of the ground. Are you selling one product or selling thousands of parts? For example are you are retailer selling to the public or are you a manufacturer selling to businesses. They are very different businesses and both the e-commerce system that you would use and the SEO plan would be quite different.

I hope this infromation helps get you started.

Best, Christine Milot
