i intend to start an online business that will require interseted visitors to make purchases. hence, i will need a module (if module is the correct term) with which customers can make credit card payments/purchases. i know this is available on many ommercial sites
the thing is i dont know the first thing about obtaining such a module. another issue is that i am in nigeria, west africa. is there a global means of obtaining such a service on my site. or is it on a contry-wise basis?
pls be as explanatory as possible. any other online business advice will be appreciated greatly.

There are many options available, but I'm not certain as to what restrictions you may have in Nigeria. I would suggest talking to your Bank and see if they offer any solutions. As well, PayPal offers this service.
