I am trying to construct a content-rich website about choosing wedding music. I have a lot of expertise in this area and am an organist. I have signed up with Google Adsense and the Amazon affiliate program but have yet to explore how to use these.
I am wondering how much money I could possible make by just running ads on my site. Can people actually make a living off content websites if they have a really good website?

In short, it depends on what your business model is.
You need to ask yourself - what are my plans on making money with this site? What will my expenses be and will I make a profit?
