Sorry for the non technical questions. I have just started a web software company one month ago to develop software for people. I have found marketing my company and getting projects are extremely tough and therefore causing no profitability.

This may depend on many different components. Internet advertising will definitely give you the best bang for the buck for your industry - it's simply a matter of doing your research and finding which site(s) provide the best return.
