Question Dear Mr. Smith,
I have an idea for a high tech internet based business based on Amazon's business model. I have most of my business plan and flow chart completed.
Right now am looking to do the work from an IT perspective. Hardware, software, web site development and the like. The business consultant that has been reviewing my business plan is not qualified to help me with this and obviously I don't have a clue as to what is involved with this part of the business.
Could you help me with this? Do you have people that you can refer me to that has the experience to do the web site development , security and other services that I'll need? I would like to use the Macintosh as the main server for this business?
Thank you,
Michael
Answer Check with your local college computer school and be prepared to take on a partner. You need to be close to who ever you decide to work with. Ask the head of the department and not the guys in the computer room. The Mac may be not the best platform.
Be prepared to spend much more marketing it than you do developing the site.
