Question What tecniques can I use to get the maximum result possible in Google ranking?
Regards
Answer Howdy.
My first piece of advice when somebody asks that question is to have patience, persistence, and more patience.
Getting ranked well in Google takes time. In fact, 99% of the time you'll see your website appear in MSN Search for your key phrases long before it appears in Google. Part of the reason why is that Google has an "aging delay" and MSN does not.
What this means is that any website -- regardless of how well it is optimized for search engines -- has to "be around" for a while before it will rank well in Google. And that's assuming everything else has been done right.
So, with that out of the way, here are some things you can do over the long haul that should help you with Google rankings.
1. Determine your keywords / key phrases.
Before you can improve your website's search engine visibility, you have to identify the key phrases under which your site should be found. By key phrases, I mean phrases your target audience would enter into a search engine when researching services like yours.
The good news is, you don't have to guess what phrases people are searching for online. You can find out by using either a paid search tracking service (like WordTracker.com), or by using the free service provided by Yahoo Search (you'll find it at Overture.com).
2. Create quality content.
Even if you do everything else right, your site will rank low if it lacks quality content. Search engines love content. It's one of the ways they validate genuine websites from "spam" websites.
Revisit your list of key phrases from Step 1. Find ways to interweave those phrases -- in a natural way -- throughout your content.
One way to achieve this is to add article pages to your website. An article of 300 – 500 words will allow you to integrate your key phrases in a natural way. Good for search engines, and good for your readers!
3. Inbound links.
Search engines also evaluate your website based on the number (and quality) of inbound links. Inbound links are hyperlinks on other websites that link to yours.
When it comes to inbound links, you should favor quality over quantity. It's far better to have inbound links from a handful of quality websites (that already rank high with search engines) than 100 "starter" sites with low ranking.
You can increase the number of inbound links in several ways. In my opinion, writing and publishing articles online is the best way to go about it. "Article marketing," as it's known, warrants a discussion all to itself. Just know it can help you increase the number of quality sites that link to yours.
4. Start a blog.
Blogs do well in search engines for a number of reasons. They are well-designed with clean code and good structure. And because they're so easy to publish through, they're usually much fresher than regular websites. By incorporating a blog into your website (and publishing it to it daily or weekly), you'll improve your site's overall visibility.
5. Don't ever cheat.
This might be the most important tip for somebody concerned with Google. Google has some of the smartest technology in the search industry. Whenever a new "black hat" method of cheating comes up, Google finds a way to identify it and remove the offender from their index. This recently happen to a European division of BMW. They did some things Google saw as cheating, so the search giant purged them from their index. Ouch!
