Question Hello, I have a 95 eagle talon 2.0 dohc fuel injected, it's the 420a motor with a manuel transmision. Just the other day the lower ball joint busted on the drivers side, causeing the wheel to buckle under and snap the axle. I was just wondering how I would go about replaceing the ball joint as well as the axle and if I should replace the top ball joint as well? Is there any special thing you have to do? Should I change the ball joints on the side as well. I just don't want anything like that to happen again, it's quite scary, thanks for the help
Answer It's called you take it to the dealer with your tow bill in hand and have them repair the body damage, replace the straight arm (provided it was the failing one) and replace the bowed arm (if it's bowed more) at no charge per the provisions of the recall. All this should be covered under the recall which you can read about here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173800&highlight=Ball+Joint+Rec...
Hope this helps.
