Eagle Repair - power loss

Expert: autohelp - 3/13/2005

Question
I just rebuilt my engine on my 1990 talon tsi awd. After setting the sensors back to factory specs, I now am no longer able to accelerate past about 4500 rpm. After 4500 rpm it acts like it is no longer making power, I dont know if fuel cut is going on, but i do know that it does cut the boost back by about 3 or 4 pounds. PLEASE HELP :)

Answer
WHY did you rebuild the engine ?.

There are so many possibilities that it would take HOURS to list them all.

Are you SURE you do NOT have an exhaust restriction ?.

Valve timing could be OFF.

Fuel pressure/volume could be LOW.
