Question Ok so i got my navel pierced about a week ago and in another week i start ballet classes again. I didnt really think about the pressure my tights and leotard were going to put on my piercing i dont want it to get infected or bumped and become rejected. is there a way i can protect it from pressure while under tights and a leotard? Something i can put on top of it?
Answer Some clients have success with a hard plastic vented eye patch sold at many drug stores as protection. It can be worn over your piercing to keep the pressure off. If you have trouble finding one, sometimes nursing pads can work if you cut the middle out to make room for your jewelry.
