Subject: Removing nipple bar

Question
Hi,

I have a nipple bar that I would like to take out.  The ball is suppose to screw off, but it is stuck.  This is my 4th nipple piercing and I've never had this problem.  My nipple is way too sensitive and I can't seem to take the bar out.  I have it for years.  What do you suggest I do?  I've tried pliers, tweezers and anything else that doesn't hurt too bad.

Thanks for your time.

Answer
See a professional if you can, stop by if you are in the Atlanta area for a free consultation removal or change.

The jewelry is probably tight, and will require cleaning then gloves or even double gloving to get a good grip. Right tight, left loose is the normal screw pitch. http://piercing.org/faq/threading.html describes this more in detail.
