Ear & Body Piercing/Gauges

Question (I'm in dire need of some advice): I just stretched my ears from 0 to 00 after being at a 0 for two months and I did it the right way. I did it after a shower, held a hot wet rag to my ears for a few minutes, and stretched with vitamin E oil like I always do. I left the tapers in for about 30 minutes and then pulled them out as I simultaneously put the plugs in. The right one went in with ease but the left one is stuck. Its not all the way through and it hurts to continue to push it through or pull it out. I left it alone for about two hours and tried again but no matter how hard I push it won't go in or out. It just won't budge period. What should I do!?

http://stretching.piercing.org/ explains what to do in this situation. The best solution is to take it slower, and simply wait until the piece is loose enough to remove, then downsize until it recovers. There are a number of safe options that will help you stretch without the force you experienced.
