Question
Hi, I have a few questions about dermal piercings /anti eyebrow
Dremal piercings First how often do they reject?
Do they get infected a lot?
Do anti eyebrow piercings leave bad scaring if they reject?
Thanks for any info

Answer
The article at http://piercingexp.com/faq/faq-surface.html answers most of your questions.

"While surface anchors can be placed pretty much anywhere, they are much more delicate and prone to rapid rejection. Sometimes all it takes is getting the anchor snagged or hurt once to make your body push it out. For this reason, itís critical to think about lifestyle, clothing, etc when deciding where to place these. The scarring can be less than with a surface bar, as the jewelry is much smaller."

Infection is possible if the area is not healed, damaged or otherwise irritated, the same as other piercings.

Facial piercings leave scars, and the only way to minimize the appearance of these scars is to wear small, high quality jewelry, take extra care with the area and remove the jewelry if it shows signs of rejection. The scarring can be visible and undesirable otherwise.
