Ear & Body Piercing/Infection?

Question
Hello Brian, recently I got my inverse belly bottom done while my first belly button was still healing. I've noticed for the past few days that neither a red, a little swollen, but if I push gently enough a yellowish pus comes out. It doesn't hurt and I asked my friends if it looked irritated but they said they look fine. I do sea salt soaks about 2 twice a day( 10 mins) or 3 times a day (3-5 mins) if I don't have time.

Is that normal? Should I go to a doctor and get it checked out?

Answer
Since heat, swelling, redness, pain and or discolored discharge it would be prudent to see your healthcare provider if it gets worse or does not get better quickly.

Focus on good nutrition, getting rest, making sure that the jewelry doesn't have any pressure put on it from your clothing, and keep the area clean in the meantime.
