Ear & Body Piercing/Tragus piercings

Hello, I had a quick question about my Tragus piercings. I had them both pierced Wednesday Sept 16th. My question is, when is the earliest time I can change the piercings I have? The thing is this, the piercer put in a flat stud with no back end to it. Basically he just bended the back but there's nothing really to hold it in place. He just bended it into my ear from the back. In other words, it can EASILY fall out! I've managed to keep these starter ones for 3 days however, I feel like they're gonna fall out soon. I don't want that to happen. If it were different starters I'd definitely keep them on for way longer. But with these, I have to change ASAP. He told me I can change them in 2 weeks, so I want to know if it's true also. Thanks.

You should not attempt to change the jewelry in a new healing cartilage piercing yourself. Seek a qualified professional for a free consultation http://find.safepiercing.org/ has a list of my colleagues who might be able to help with quality jewelry and safety precautions for the change, which could be done immediately.
